Anti-aging of cryogenic pressure vessels

The cryogenic  pressure vessel's ability to resist aging is still relatively good. Even so, in the daily use process, there are still many matters needing attention, so as to ensure that the anti-aging performance of the cryogenic vessel is not affected too much. Due to different media, different resins must be used for the inner layer of the tank. The different aging resistance of different resins directly determines the service life of cryogenic  storage tanks. So what are the determinants of the anti-aging performance of cryogenic storage tanks?
 
Cryogenic storage tanks have a cyclic process of pressure and decompression between input and discharge. Under the long-term influence, the entire storage tank system will be gradually exhausted until it is completely destroyed, which is the aging process of the cryogenic storage tank. The speed of the aging process is related to the manufacturing process.

The whole is made of alkali-free glass fiber, which has a unique strength advantage. Compared with cryogenic storage tanks made of a layer of felt and cloth, cryogenic storage tanks made of glass fiber have an unparalleled strength advantage. Similarly, compared with traditional cryogenic storage tanks, the anti-aging performance of glass fiber is greatly improved.

 

The aging resistance of the outer surface of the cryogenic tank is also critical. Years of experience show that we use resin plus UV absorber to cover the outer layer of the storage tank, which has a good anti-aging effect.
