What is the danger of improper use of double-layer oil tanks? Due to factors such as design, manufacturing, construction quality problems, anti-corrosion defects, damage to equipment accessories and auxiliary equipment, incomplete or invalid safety facilities, oil tanks and oil transportation facilities can cause liquid oil leakage in pressure vessels. There is a risk of fire and explosion due to electrical sparks or hot surfaces

1. Oil tank foundation
The double-layered oil tank foundation sinks heavily, especially unevenly, which will directly endanger the stability of the oil tank body. The tearing of the bottom plate and the tank body will cause a large amount of oil leakage and bring about a major fire hazard;

2. Tank
The oil tank is the key equipment of the storage and transportation system, and is also the location of accidents. Such as excessive deformation of the pressure vessel tank, corrosion is too thin or even perforation, weld cracking, floating disk tilt, seal damage, etc. are all hidden dangers of safe production.

3. Oil tank accessories
The failure of the double-layer oil tank accessories, such as the failure of high and low liquid level alarms, the freezing of the sewage valve and pipe, the failure of the floating roof pivot and the drainage system, and the tight seal between the floating item and the tank wall will give oil safety. The storage poses a serious threat, or even explodes on fire.

4. Anticorrosion and heat preservation of oil tank
① The partial corrosion of the double-layer oil tank's anticorrosive layer will aggravate the corrosion of this part, resulting in the oil running through the perforation or the crack running;
② The destruction of the insulation layer of the pressure vessel and the loss of insulation will cause the temperature loss and shrinkage of the oil tank at low temperature, resulting in cold and brittle;
③ The local damage of the insulation layer of the pressure vessel is easy to enter the water, which will accelerate the powdering and aging of the insulation material and the corrosion of the tank;
5. Lightning protection and grounding facilities
If the grounding device breaks or falls off, which affects the lightning path, or the grounding resistance increases, which affects the lightning current dissipation, in the thunderstorm season, the oil tank may be subjected to lightning strikes, causing fire and explosion.

6. Safety monitoring equipment
Due to the sensors, safety monitoring equipment, especially the relevant implementation components of the automatic monitoring facility and the equipment itself and installation reasons, the accuracy does not meet the requirements, the explosion-proof level is not enough, the action is malfunctioning, and it cannot play a reliable monitoring role, resulting in accidents. For example, the high liquid level does not alarm and runs to the top.

The structure design of the oil tank is unreasonable, the layout of the oil tank is unreasonable, and the foundation of the oil tank sinks, causing cracks in the deformation of the oil tank, unreasonable selection of the material of the oil tank, unreasonable material selection, insufficient strength, and inconsistent specifications. The pipeline is not matched, the pipeline is not elastically connected, the flexibility is insufficient, and the pipeline strength does not meet the requirements.
