Development prospects of LNG cryogenic storage tanks

The design and construction of large-scale lng storage tanks are large-scale core equipment in LNG terminal storage systems, and the design and construction of which are one of the key technologies for lng terminal project construction.
Small and medium-sized lng storage tanks are widely used, and the domestic production technology is mature, which is flying with the development of the lng industry. Small and medium-sized LNG storage tanks generally have a double metal wall structure, are stored under pressure, and are insulated with vacuum powder. Small storage tanks can also be insulated with high vacuum and multilayer. At present, the design, manufacturing technology and capabilities of domestic small and medium-sized storage tanks are relatively mature, and products have been put into use in large quantities. Small and medium-sized lng storage tanks are widely used in small lng liquefaction plants, lng gasification stations, lng gas filling stations, lng transportation and civil facilities, and they are also essential equipment for lng receiving stations, which are connected to downstream applications.
