1. The dress code for emergency treatment personnel of Dewar

To protect the eyes, skin and other parts that are easily in contact with low-temperature liquids, wear protective glasses or face shields; it is recommended to wear protective gloves and long sleeves that are easy to take off to protect the arms; wear trousers without cuffs , The trousers should cover the shoes to block the overflowing low-temperature liquid. The clothes of emergency personnel should be made of cotton, preferably with no pockets or rolled up parts. It is strictly forbidden to wear chemical fiber clothing that may cause static electricity, and wear leather shoes without iron nails on the feet.
2. When the dewar is in a fire environment
At this time, all valves communicating with gas and liquid phase should be closed in time. When the valve of the gas cylinder cannot be closed or the leak cannot be blocked, never spray the liquid leak directly with water. It is recommended to use a dry powder (preferably potassium carbonate) fire extinguisher.
3. When the Dewar is under overpressure relief
At this time, the gas cylinder should open the discharge valve in time, and release the overpressure gas in the Dewar as soon as possible to the safety valve when it is properly seated. When discharging oxygen or natural gas into the air, it should be determined in advance that there are no open flames, no flammable materials, and no pedestrians in the vicinity. If the depressurization effect of the exhaust gas is poor, move the gas cylinder to an open place, connect the delivery hose, and open the inlet and outlet valve (DPL cylinder)/outlet valve (DPW cylinder) to empty when the exhaust valve is empty.
Note: The vented liquid is not allowed to drain into the underground drain.
4. When the inner container of the Dewar accidentally leaks
At this time, due to the leakage of liquid inside the pressure vessel, the liner is under excessive pressure, which will cause and cause an accident. The liquid in the bottle should be carefully discharged as soon as possible or unloaded into other intact similar bottles. When conditions permit, the damaged bottle should be transferred to a place free of open flames, flammables, and pedestrians for emergency treatment as soon as possible.
5. When the Dewar valve is frozen
If the valve of the gas cylinder is frozen, it should be thawed with clean oil-free warm water or hot nitrogen before operation. Don't force it to open with a hammer or other objects
