Methods for extending the service life of liquid LAr storage tanks:
1. Before use, the liquid argon storage tank should be pre-cooled by flowing in liquid nitrogen. When the temperature in the tank reaches the requirements, pay attention to the neck plug at any time, remove the freezing on the neck plug in time, and do not place plastic cloth on the neck plug. Substance, strengthens the tightness of the storage tank and keeps its wake-up function.

2. The storage tank should be handled lightly. Do not drag on the ground during activities. Lift it up and store it in a dry, well-ventilated room to prevent moisture.

3. The liquid inside the argon storage tank can be drained when the pressure inside the tank reaches the draining requirement. In order to ensure the purity of the storage medium and reduce the consumption of the medium and liquid during the next filling, it is not necessary to completely empty the storage tank. It is best to seal 10 liters. Left and right liquid.
 
Note for liquid LAr storage tanks:
1. The storage tank should be placed in a well-ventilated place, and the distance from the fire source and heat source should not be less than 1.5m. It is strictly forbidden to use the fire to roast, boil the water or expose it to the sun. Always check the air tightness of the storage tank valve and pipe joints, etc., to keep it airtight, use soapy water to check the air leakage, and it is strictly forbidden to test with an open flame.

2. When igniting, the ignition should be ignited first, and then the gas should be turned on. The sequence should not be reversed. During the use, someone should be guarded, do not leave, to prevent water from boiling over to extinguish the fire, causing gas flow to cause explosion, and liquid argon storage tanks. After that, the valve needs to be closed tightly to prevent air leakage.

3. The liquefied gas in the liquid argon storage tank cannot be used up, and some residual pressure should be left. The residual pressure should generally be greater than 49.03kPa (that is, 0.5kg / cm2, gauge pressure) to prevent air from entering the storage tank. After use, the residual liquid left in the bottle is also a kind of flammable material. It must not be dumped by itself to prevent fire caused by the flow and evaporation of the residual liquid.
