Precautions for oil tank level gauge

The field of use of level gauges is extremely wide, especially in important fields such as petroleum, chemical, electric power, new energy, light industry, and pressure vessel industry. Today, we will discuss the precautions of level gauges, especially in the technical applications of petroleum, chemical, and oil station level measurement.
(1) When the lead wire of the level gauge needs to be branched or rewired, an explosion-proof branch (connection) box must be used (the explosion-proof certificate is obtained, and the junction box has an EX mark). The explosion-proof liquid level monitor conforms to the standard. When there are redundant outlets in the junction box, it must be sealed with a plug that is consistent with the explosion-proof type of the junction box to ensure the explosion-proof performance of the level gauge;
(2) The maximum allowable ambient temperature of the main body of the level gauge is -20℃～70℃;
(3) The installation of the level gauge should avoid the influence of high external heat sources;
(4) The user is not allowed to replace the internal parts of the oil tank level gauge at will. If you need to replace it, please contact the pressure vessel manufacturer in time. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to open the cover in a dangerous place (explosive gas) with electricity to avoid unnecessary losses to the customer ；
(5) The installation, use and maintenance of the level gauge shall also comply with the requirements of the relevant operating instructions, and the relevant regulations shall be followed in hazardous locations.
Finally, there are the items that need to be paid attention to when the tank level gauge is transported and stored:
(1) The level gauge should be stored in the ambient air temperature of 0°C~40°C, and the indoor air should be free of corrosive impurities to avoid problems in the measurement and use of the product in harsh environments;
(2) The level gauge should be protected from collision and chemical corrosion during transportation and storage.
