Precautions for liquid oxygen dewar
Date: Sep 02, 2020
Pay attention to the following when loading liquid oxygen LO2 and liquefied natural gas LNG:
1. Cryogenic gas cylinders containing flammable liquid (LNG) and combustion-supporting liquid oxygen (LO2) must be kept away from flames or electric sparks. The storage and use of pressure vessels should be in a well-ventilated environment to avoid leakage causing fire or explosion.
2. Fireworks are not allowed in areas where cryogenic gas cylinders are repaired, filled, and stored. All personnel entering the site containing liquid oxygen and liquefied natural gas cylinders should wear fire-resistant and anti-static work clothes and work shoes.
3. All electrical and communication equipment entering the LNG use site shall meet the requirements of explosion-proof level in hazardous areas;
4. The cryogenic gas cylinder needs to be emptied, relieved, and replaced when disassembling the Dewar parts for maintenance;
5. Note: Open the valve slowly when in use to prevent the instantaneous flow velocity from causing static electricity and causing danger; Quality Assurance of Liquid Oxygen Dewar:
1. Ensure that the pressure vessel provided by the pressure vessel manufacturer has reasonable design, high quality, stable operation, safety and reliability.
2. The warranty period for the vacuum degree of insulated gas cylinders is within 24 months.
3. Insulated gas cylinder accessories; such as shut-off valves, liquid level gauges, safety valves, vaporization and pressure reducing devices, and supporting delivery pipes, etc. The warranty period is 12 months.
4. The warranty period of the Dewar flask starts from the date the equipment leaves the factory. The prerequisite of the warranty is that there is no external force or man-made damage.
5. During the warranty period, the pressure vessel will be repaired or replaced due to quality problems caused by design, manufacturing, etc.; after the warranty period, the service will charge for repair or replacement.
