LNG cryogenic storage tank pressure regulation process
Date: Feb 25, 2020
The LNG storage tank pressure adjustment process is an operation in which the saturated vapor pressure of LNG in the LNG storage tank needs to be adjusted before the LNG car is refueled. This operation process has two submersible pump pressure adjustment processes.
1. Submersible pump pressure regulation process
The LNG liquid enters the submersible pump through the liquid outlet of the LNG cryogenic storage tank. After being pressurized by the submersible pump, the LNG liquid enters the supercharged gasifier and is gasified. Gas phase space for pressure regulation of pressure vessels. When the submersible pump is used to regulate the pressure of the LNG storage tank, the inlet pressure of the booster gasifier is the outlet pressure of the submersible pump.
The maximum outlet pressure of a TC34 submersible pump of a company in the United States is generally set to 1.2 MPa, and the outlet pressure of the booster gasifier is the gas phase pressure of the storage tank, which is about 0.6 MPa. The inlet pressure of the booster gasifier is much higher than its outlet pressure, so using a submersible pump to regulate the pressure is fast, the pressure regulating time is short, and the pressure is high. 2. Self-boosting pressure regulation process
The LNG liquid enters the pressurized gasifier directly from the liquid outlet of the LNG cryogenic storage tank to be gasified. The gasified gas is returned to the gas phase space of the LNG storage tank through the gas phase pipe of the LNG storage tank to regulate the pressure of the LNG storage tank. When using this pressure adjustment method, the inlet pressure of the booster gasifier is the gas pressure before the LNG cryogenic storage tank is not adjusted and the liquid column static pressure generated by the liquid in the tank (approximately when the storage tank with a volume of 30 m3 is full). The sum of the pressure is 0.01 MPa), and the outlet pressure is the gas phase pressure of the pressure vessel (about 0.6 MPa).
