The liquid oxygen storage tank has many functions, but there will still be some problems during use, which need to be fixed. So what are the basic precautions for liquid oxygen storage tanks during maintenance and construction?
When the liquid O2 cryogenic storage tank is repaired, the coating design is basically the same as the new design. Only the requirements for substrate treatment are different. In harsh environments, in order to provide long-term anti-corrosion protection, it is recommended to use modified epoxy coatings as repair primers on the premise that the supporting performance can be guaranteed.
The determination of the liquid oxygen tank maintenance plan must be combined with the judgment of the surface corrosion degree. Generally, the coating film is intact, without rust, and only the slightly aging surface does not need to be completely recoated. The surface can be washed with high-pressure fresh water to remove dust, salt, and Repaint after other corrosive media. 
For aesthetic purposes, the surface must be repainted. Rinse the shield with water, brush the surface, and then spray 1 or 2 top coats. If the coating film is obviously pulverized and the bottom is exposed, but there is no rust, you only need to rinse with high pressure fresh water, brush the surface, apply primer and apply 1 or 2 top coats.
If the surface of the coating film is foaming, but the entire coating film is basically intact, only the local damage needs to be treated, and then the primer is repaired according to the coating matching, and the intermediate paint and the top coat are applied. If the liquid oxygen storage tank has severe rust and is damaged by blistering and powdering, it is recommended to perform sandblasting first to meet the requirements, remove all the old coating film and corrosion products, and repaint in accordance with the new construction.
