Safety distance between LPG storage tank and other buildings

The safe distance between LPG storage tank and other buildings shall be considered when placing, so as to prevent irreparable loss with adjacent buildings in case of accident.
1. The safety distance between the above ground LPG storage tanks shall not be less than the diameter of the adjacent tanks, and the net distance shall be taken as the larger one.
2. When the total volume of LPG storage tank is more than 3000 cubic meters, it needs to be arranged in groups. The arrangement form of LPG storage tank between each group should be arranged in a single row. The clear distance between the two groups of LPG storage tank is more than or equal to 20 meters.
3. A fire-retardant solid protective wall of not less than 1 m high shall be added around the LPG storage tank; the clear distance between the horizontal LPG storage tank and the protective wall shall not be less than the diameter of the LPG storage tank, and the distance between the spherical LPG storage tank and the protective wall for large storage site shall not be less than the radius of the spherical LPG storage tank; the clear distance between the operating platform and the protective wall shall not be less than 3 m.
4. When there are more than 4 LPG storage tanks in the protective wall, more than two ladders shall be set, and the two ladders shall be arranged separately.
5. The safe distance between LPG storage tank and other civil buildings varies from 40m to 100m according to the volume of LPG storage tank.

7. The minimum safe distance between LPG storage tank and railway shall not be less than 60m.
