Material selection and production process of LPG storage tank

The design, material selection and production process of the liquefied petroleum gas storage tank determine the quality and service life of the LPG storage tank, and also determine the tolerability and safety characteristics of the liquefied petroleum gas storage tank. 1. Tank material selection:
The LPG storage tank body is made of three types of pressure vessel special steel plate Q345R, with a yield strength of 340MPA. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties and process performance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and good cutting performance. Similarly, the advantages and disadvantages of the processing technology of steel lead to different material properties and different price differences, it is necessary to use steel plates produced by large-scale steel mills in the formal process.

2. Welding process:
The LPG tank body is welded by the cylinder body and the head. According to the volumetric size, the cylinder body needs to be divided into several sections, the welding must first weld the inner ring joint, the outer ring joint is welded by the air plane welding, and the automatic ring seam welding. Process quality control points: (1) The use of automatic loop welding equipment with excellent technology can ensure the stability of the solder joints well, and the surface joints are even and smooth to meet the process requirements; (2) The welds are not allowed to cross, The horizontal distance between the longitudinal joints of the two cylinders should be greater than 150MM to ensure the safety performance of the lpg storage tank.

3. Valve fittings. Flange selection:
Valve fittings such as: manhole cover need to use large manufacturers to produce three-stage forging forgings, safety valves, manual release valves, thermometer level gauges, etc., using brand quality guarantee products, can effectively ensure the safety and inspection of later the LPG tanks.

4. Rigorous flaw detection system:
The rigorous flaw detection report is the basis for ensuring the quality of the LPG storage tank weld, the subsequent service life and inspection and testing.

5. Heat treatment process:
The heat treatment equipment must be a professional equipment with a sealed constant temperature. For the setting of the temperature curve, the length of the heating time must be strictly required. The heat treatment process using the resistance wire heating can well form relaxation inside the tank body, eliminate various stresses, and ensure that the LPG storage tank body does not deform and leaks to prolong its service life.

6. Tank paint spraying:
The process is as follows: sanding and derusting the tank, spraying anti-rust paint, hanging the ion paint, and then spraying the primer and the top coat. Excellent paint processing technology can ensure the LPG storage tank is in use. After more than ten years of wind and sun, it will not fade. It will not fall off paint. It will not rust and prevent the external corrosion of the tank.
