The various functions of the horizontal dewar are realized by the following parts. Read carefully before operating the pressure vessel to familiarize yourself with the function and use of the parts of the gas cylinder.
Supercharger: The supercharger uses a finned heat exchanger and is installed at the bottom of the Dewar to increase the pressure in the gas cylinder. However, when the liquid level in the gas cylinder is low, the boosting speed is very slow, so , It is recommended that users increase the pressure in the Dewar to 1.0MPa before using the pressure vessel, so that the pressure in the cylinder can meet the requirements when using liquid.
Discharge valve: This valve is connected to the gas phase space of the gas cylinder. Opening this valve can release the gas in the Dewar to reduce the pressure.
Liquid inlet valve: This valve is used to control the filling of cryogenic liquid.
Outlet valve: This valve is used to control the output of cryogenic liquid.
Boosting valve: This valve is used to control the booster circuit. Open this valve to pressurize the cylinder.
Pressure regulating valve: The cryogenic liquid enters the supercharger through this valve and is converted into saturated steam, and then returns to the gas phase space at the top of the cylinder, so that the pressure in the Dewar can reach the setting value of the pressure regulating valve. Pressure gauge: display the pressure of the gas cylinder, the unit is pounds per square inch (psi) or megapascals (MPa).
Safety valve: The cylinder liner is designed with double safety valves to protect the cylinder when overpressure. (In the case of overpressure) the safety valve is opened, and its function is to release the pressure rise caused by the normal heat leakage loss of the insulating layer and the support, or the pressure rise caused by the accelerated heat leakage after the vacuum of the sandwich is broken and under fire conditions.
The protection of the pressure vessel shell under overpressure conditions is achieved by a vacuum plug. If the inner tank leaks (resulting in excessively high interlayer pressure), the vacuum plug will open to release the pressure. In case the vacuum plug leaks, it will lead to the destruction of the interlayer vacuum. At this time, it can be found that the shell is "sweating" and frosting. Of course, frost or condensation at the end of the pipe connected to the bottle body is normal.
