How should low temperature storage tanks be maintained?

1. Determination of the degree of vacuum between the inner and outer interlayers (one year period)

2. Daily inspection of the supporting facilities of the cryogenic storage tank equipment: fire sprinkler pipes on the outer wall of the tank, lightning protection and lightning protection, anti-static grounding wire is intact.

3. Low-temperature storage tanks should be observed frequently to find out whether there is any subsidence or damage. If problems are found, they should be reported and treated in time.

4. The safety valve should be inspected regularly to observe whether there is frost formation or condensed water. The safety valve on the low temperature storage tank needs to be re-calibrated after the jump.

5 The outer surface of the low temperature storage tank should be inspected regularly for any abnormal phenomena such as deformation, corrosion, frost formation and condensation, and the problems should be reported and dealt with in time.

6. The liquid level of the liquid cryogenic storage tank should be within the normal storage range, the upper limit of the liquid level is 85%, and the lower limit is 15%.

7. There are pressure gauges and differential pressure level gauges on the low temperature storage tanks, all of which have on-site indication and remote transmission transmission. The remote transmission is transmitted to the central control room as the collection of self-control data, which should be regularly tested and verified. Should be based on the density of the storage medium.

8. The first valve connected to the cryogenic storage tank shall not be used as a control valve for incoming and outgoing materials, and shall not allow frequent switching. It should be kept in the normally open state, and it should be switched on and off regularly to keep it flexible and easy to use. Because the first valve is difficult to replace.

9. After the low temperature valve is used for a period of time, liquid leakage may occur. If the upper gland is found to have a slight leak, the packing gland should be pressed. If the spool cannot be closed, the spool should be replaced. The low temperature valve is strictly prohibited from refueling and water cleaning.

10.Don’t place any material around the cryogenic storage tank to hinder the walkway and operation, and keep the site clean and tidy.
