Tips for maintenance of cryogenic storage tank

1. A small amount of liquid nitrogen should be put into the cryogenic storage tank for precooling before use. When the temperature in the tank reaches the liquid nitrogen temperature, fill the cryogenic storage tank with liquid nitrogen. Pay attention to handle the cryogenic storage tank with care to prevent collision and extrusion. When it is not allowed to drag and move on the ground, it should be lifted up. When the cryogenic storage tank is not used, it shall be stored in a dry room with good ventilation to prevent moisture.
2. Check the storage tank at any time, remove the ice on the neck plug in time, and do not place plastic cloth and other substances on the neck plug, so as to increase the sealing ability and ensure the use function of the cryogenic storage tank. When it is found that the consumption speed of liquid nitrogen storage tank is too fast or there are water drops and white frost near the neck of cryogenic storage tank, it means that the insulation function of the tank is out of order and liquid nitrogen cannot be retained. The specimen placed in the cryogenic storage tank shall be marked well, and shall be stable, accurate and fast when taken and placed.
3. In order to prevent erosion of tank wall, the inner cavity of liquid nitrogen tank needs to be cleaned once a year. In addition, it should be noted that the cryogenic storage tank should be transported as less as possible and the number of times to open the cryogenic storage tank should be reduced. If it is necessary to transport, it shall be fixed on the truck body with rope, and the cryogenic storage tank shall be kept upright. Prevent collision, overturning and lying horizontally, and try to prevent violent vibration.
