An important part of the double-layer oil tank

In order to protect the groundwater resources, the storage tanks of many gas stations have been replaced with double-layer oil tanks at gas stations, which makes it safer and more economical to use pressure vessels. Therefore, the use of double-layer oil tanks is becoming more and more widespread and more and more popular.
The important part of the double-layer oil tank:

Tank bottom:
The bottom structure of the oil tank is divided into two parts: the medium-width plate and the edge plate. Medium width plate: the middle steel plate of the bottom of the tank surrounded by the edge plate. Edge plate: the peripheral bottom plate steel plate welded to the tank wall.

Tank wall:
It can be lap joint, butt joint or a combination of the two. Butt joint should be selected for thicker boards. In addition to the tank siding, it also includes:
1. Tank wall cladding angle steel: The cladding angle steel is used for connecting the tank top and tank wall. The connection between the angle steel and the tank wall can be overlapped or docked, and the angle steel of the vaulted tank can be inward or outward. For floating roof tank angles must be outward.
2. Wind resistance ring and reinforcement ring: The outer floating roof oil tank must be provided with a top wind resistance ring near the upper end of the tank wall outside the tank wall. People can walk on the anti-wind ring to check the situation of the tank. The large-diameter tank generally needs to add a reinforcement ring.

Tank top:
The oil tank roof can be lapped or docked. Generally, the width of the lap is greater than or equal to 5 times the thickness of the steel plate, and the amount of lap is not less than 25mm.
Vertical double-layer oil tanks are divided into three categories according to the form of the tank roof: vaulted oil tank, floating roof oil tank and inner floating roof oil tank
1. Dome oil tank: The radius of curvature of the dome spherical surface should be 0.8-1.2 times the inner diameter of the tank.
2. Floating roof oil tank: the floating roof tank wall must be docked, and the inner wall welding seam should be polished and smooth. The tank top floats on the liquid surface in the tank and rises and falls as the liquid level in the tank changes. The floating roof structure is divided into two types of double-disc type and single-disc type. There must be legs on the floating plate. When the floating plate drops to a very low level, install legs to support the floating plate for easy maintenance.
3. Inner floating roof oil tank: Generally, the inner floating roof will generate gas in the space above the liquid surface, and oil and gas recovery device should be installed. Generally, the inner floating roof is used to store light oil, aviation kerosene and other mediums with higher requirements.

An internal floating roof floating on the liquid surface is added inside the double-layer oil tank, that is, an oil tank with a light floating roof and a fixed roof is called an internal floating roof tank, and the floating roof sealing device has an aging phenomenon , To be replaced regularly.

Through the above article, we know that the double-layer oil tank is composed of three parts: the bottom, the wall, and the top of the tank. In short, the double-layer oil tank has unique characteristics such as strong anticorrosion, automatic leak detection alarm, high efficiency, environmental protection, safety and economy. It has a strong competitive advantage in environmental protection, anti-leakage, anti-corrosion, extended oil tank life, energy saving, etc., and has attracted much attention in the industry.
