Double-layer oil tank unloading details

1. When using oil tanks, for safety reasons, the exhaust pipe of the tank truck should be equipped with a fire cover. The engine should be turned off when unloading the oil by itself. At the same time, stop refueling operations, take safety precautions, and arrange unloading in time.

Secondly, before unloading the oil from the pressure vessel, the work we still need to do is to measure the oil tank and check the oil storage capacity of the oil tank before unloading the oil to prevent the top and run off the oil during unloading. The oil flow rate should be strictly controlled when the pressure vessel is unloaded. The oil flow rate should be controlled within 0.71m/s before the oil product is submerged into the oil pipe to prevent static electricity.
3. When unloading the fuel, we should have a dedicated person to supervise it. The driver should first connect the temporary grounding wire to the specified position of the double-deck tanker, and stick to the post to prevent pedestrians from approaching. After unloading the oil and stabilizing the oil for 5 minutes, re-test the oil tank inventory to prevent electrostatic discharge between the oil dipstick, the oil level and the oil tank, which may cause catastrophe.
4. Another issue that needs to be paid attention to by users is that when we unload oil, we need to pay attention that the oil pipe should extend to the bottom of the tank no more than 300mm to prevent static electricity caused by oil splashing. According to the experience in some areas, the section of the oil discharge pipe that enters the double-layer oil tank area is changed to a flower pipe, which can prevent oil splashing.
