Use management items for newly purchased oil tanks

1. For newly built or overhauled double-layer oil tanks, the tank should be inspected before use, and the volume table of the pressure vessel should be compiled;

2. After deciding to enter the oil, check again whether all the accessories of the double-layer oil tank are complete, whether the connection is tight, and whether the opening and closing positions of the oil tank valve are correct;

3. After checking the double-layer oil tank, start to feed oil, and the oil feed rate should be within the allowable range of the breathing valve;

4. When the oil tank enters the oil, patrol inspections should be strengthened, pay attention to whether there is any leakage in the pressure vessel weld or the bottom of the tank, and check regularly. When the oil level is close to the safe oil level, strict monitoring should be carried out to prevent accidents of oil spilling from the roof;

5. According to the specified structure and process conditions of the double-layer oil tank, the oil filling height, (safe height) and oil storage height of each oil tank should be clearly specified. When oil is fed, the oil level should be strictly controlled within the maximum oil filling height . When pumping oil, it shall not be lower than the low oil storage height. To

6. When opening the oil measuring hole of the pressure vessel, the operator should stand on the upper air vent to ensure that fresh air is sucked in. When measuring the oil, the ruler should be lowered along the aluminum (or copper) guide groove in the oil measuring hole to avoid steel Sparks occur due to friction between the measuring tape and the hole wall. After measuring the gauge, the cover of the oil measuring hole should be tightly covered and the gasket in the cover should be intact; 7. When the double-layer oil tank is heated, the condensate valve should be opened first, and then the intake valve should be opened gradually to prevent hydraulic shock from damaging the welding joints and accessories of the heating pipe;

8. Only when the liquid level is more than 50 cm higher than the heating coil, is it allowed to heat the oil tank;

9. When the double-layer oil tank is heated, the temperature should be measured regularly and the condensate return water should be checked. If oil is found in the return water, the cause should be found in time;

10. Pressure vessels should be cleaned of the bottom deposits on a regular basis. The cleaning time can be determined according to the degree of oil tank deposition and quality requirements. Generally, the double-layer oil tank is cleaned once every two years.
