Code of Practice for Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tanks

By Manager
Date: Mar 05, 2020
First, the operation process of liquid nitrogen storage tank (liquid nitrogen cryogenic storage tank):
1. Connect the outputs together using a pipeline through the liquid discharge interface.
2. Clearly the liquid level valve and liquid level valve are closed.
3. Open liquid discharge valve, booster input valve and booster output valve. At this time, the device will automatically deliver liquid until it reaches the set pressure.
4. Once the required amount of material is reached (or the storage tank is closed for another period of use), the liquid discharge valve is closed and the entire process is stopped. The operation of this device is completely automatic. The valve is only filled and maintained Are turned on and off.
5. The normal operation status of the storage tank valve is as follows: close the top filling valve, bottom filling valve, gas discharge valve, overflow valve, equalization valve, open liquid output valve, booster input valve, booster output valve, The liquid level displays the liquid phase valve, and the liquid level displays the gas phase valve.
Second, to increase the pressure of the liquid nitrogen storage tank (liquid nitrogen storage tank pressure vessel):
1. Record the existing tank pressure.
2. Turn the adjusting button clockwise to adjust the pressure regulating valve. Note: Turning 1/2 clockwise is equivalent to a pressure of about 0.15Mpa or a pressure increase.
3. After the pressure in the storage tank rises for 30 minutes, determine the new pressure setting.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 according to the situation to ensure that the specified pressure is reached.

Third, the procedure for reducing the pressure of the liquid nitrogen storage tank:
1. Open the gas discharge valve, discharge the pressure of the storage tank below the newly set pressure, and close the gas discharge valve after reaching a lower pressure.
2. Turn the adjusting button counterclockwise to adjust the pressure regulating valve. Note: Turning 1/2 turn counterclockwise will reduce the pressure by 0.15Mpa.
3. After the tank pressure equilibrates for 30 minutes, determine the new pressure setpoint.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as appropriate until the specified pressure is reached.
