LNG storage tank considerations

In order to prevent abnormal phenomena such as over-temperature and over-pressure in LNG cryogenic storage tanks, we should control the use pressure and operating temperature of LNG cryogenic storage tanks during use. The reasons for the over-temperature and overpressure of LNG storage tanks are as follows:

(1) Manual operation errors. In order to prevent operational errors, it should be listed on the key operating device. The card should be clearly marked or marked with the opening and closing direction of the valve, opening and closing status, precautions, etc.

(2) Measures for overfilling liquefied gas to prevent overfilling include: strictly filling according to the specified storage capacity, and finding that it is over-loaded, it should immediately try to extract the excess capacity; all the instruments used for filling must be periodically inspected, the liquid level It should be washed regularly; if there is residual liquid in the container, it should be included in the filling amount, and its weight cannot be ignored; when the ambient temperature rises, spray cooling should be carried out.

Maintenance method of LNG storage tank:
The LNG storage tank should be placed in a well ventilated place, and the distance between the fire source and the heat source should not be less than 1.5m. Gas cylinders are not allowed to be roasted with fire, boiled in water or exposed to sunlight. Always check the airtightness of the cylinder valve and pipe joints, etc., and keep airtight. Generally use soapy water to check for leaks. It is strictly forbidden to use an open flame to test leaks.
