About the main process of LNG storage tank bottom production and installation.
1. Before laying the bottom plate, draw a cross center line on the foundation, first lay the middle slab according to the layout diagram, and then lay the middle and side plates on both sides, align the side while laying, use fixtures or spot welding to temporarily fixed. The allowable deviation of the overlap width of the bottom plate is ±5mm;
 
2. The type and size of the butt joints between the mid-width plates at the bottom of the tank and between the mid-width plates and the edge plates should meet the requirements of the design drawings. The transition from the lap section to the butt joints is performed by acetylene flame heating and bending. Edge volume is not greater than 1mm;
 
3. The welding sequence of the bottom plate of the LNG storage tank is very important. Welders are strictly required to perform the following processes;
 
4. For the welding of medium-width plates, the short seam should be welded before the long seam is welded; before the short seam of the slat is welded, the temporary welding point between the slat and the slat or side plates on both sides should be shoveled away ; For long-seam welding, the welders should be evenly and symmetrically distributed, from the center to the outside, and the welding should be performed by the stepwise backward method;
 
5. The lap joint at the edge of the bottom plate is changed into a butt joint. When welding, the gap welding should be symmetrically distributed, and the shrinkage seam should be evenly left. The gap between the butts should be filled and smooth, and the surface of the weld should be smooth and smooth;
 
6. In order to reduce the welding deformation, the circular fillet welds between the bottom plate and the bottom ring plate should be symmetrically distributed inside and outside the cryogenic LNG storage tank by several pairs of welders, and be welded back in sections in the same direction, or the inner ring can be welded first and then the outer ring Welding sequence;
 
7. The overlapping welds of the edge board should be de-welded in sections from outside to inside;
 
8. Then, weld the joint between the mid-width plate and the edge plate. Before welding, the position of the weld between the two plates should be cleaned up. The welders are evenly distributed along the circumference and skip welding in sections.
