Rules to follow when using Dewar flasks

With the continuous development of the special gas industry, there is an increasing demand for storage tanks such as Dewars used to carry special gases in the industry, and its role is also increasingly prominent, despite the various storage tank products such as Dewars. It has achieved good development in the industry. However, it is estimated that few people understand some related knowledge of Dewar flasks. Although it is widely used, it is not common in our daily life. For this we need to have the operating procedures Certain understanding:
 
1. Ensure that the workplace has excellent ventilation conditions and that the oxygen content in the air should be higher than 18% (volume concentration).
 
2. All devices on the Dewar tank (including connectors, pipes and valves) must not be stained with flammable materials such as oil and grease. 3. The valve should be opened slowly by hand. If the valve is damaged or cannot be opened by hand, do not use a wrench or other tools to force it to open, and you should contact Linde Gas Company immediately.
 
4. If devices such as valves are frozen, use hot water and other suitable methods to defrost. Do not use an open flame to defrost, nor use a hammer or other tools to strike them. It is forbidden to repair or tighten any parts on the storage tank/dewar under pressure.
 
5. Liquid nitrogen shall not be used in residences with poor ventilation conditions such as basements, semi-basements or recesses.
