In industrial applications, liquid oxygen storage tanks are often used to store liquid oxygen. At the same time, based on the relevant characteristics of liquid oxygen, there are some things to pay attention to when storing in cryogenic liquid oxygen storage tanks to ensure the storage effect and safety. In the case of using a liquid oxygen storage tank to store liquid oxygen, it is necessary to ensure that the storage tank is cleaned once a year to prevent the liquid oxygen from eroding the tank wall. Before cleaning the storage tank, the liquid oxygen discharge in it should be completely removed. The discharge should be operated in accordance with professional methods, and then the neutral washing liquid should be used for cleaning. After washing with the washing liquid, a large amount of water should be used for secondary washing.

The liquid oxygen cryogenic storage tank cannot be put into use immediately after cleaning. It is necessary to ensure that the water in the tank is controlled to dry and pay attention to the temperature of the washing liquid and the washing water. Liquid temperature generally cannot exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Excessive temperature will affect the performance of the storage tank. It is necessary to mark the cryogenic storage tank for storing liquid oxygen so as to grasp the storage situation in detail. During the storage of liquid oxygen, the storage tank should minimize the number of openings. At the same time, pay more attention to observe whether the neck plug is icing. If it is to be removed in time, check the insulation of the tank in good time to determine Is the tank suitable for continued storage of liquid oxygen

1. Before installing the liquid oxygen cryogenic storage tank, the foundation should be strong and firm. In strict accordance with the design requirements, anchor bolts must be used when fixing. Welding is strictly prohibited; the inclination of the storage tank should be less than 0.1%.
2. When connecting the liquid oxygen storage tank, vaporizer, and pressure reducing device to the flange of the pipeline, cryogenic seals, copper or austenitic stainless steel connecting bolts should be used, and they should be tightened at cryogenic after pre-tightening at room temperature.

3. All wires and cables within 7 meters of the liquid oxygen storage tank shall be provided with metal sleeves and shall not be exposed. The tank of the liquid oxygen cryogenic storage tank shall be at least 15 meters away from the public meeting place and life support area. The wall or protruding part of Grade I and Grade II buildings shall be no less than 10 meters, and no less than 30 meters from the coal-fired boiler room.

4. Before the liquid oxygen tank is filled with liquid oxygen once, it must be ensured that it has been purged with nitrogen and replaced and pre-cooled with medical liquid oxygen. After the initial filling is completed, the pressure should be increased slowly and the change in tank pressure should be monitored within 48 hours.
