Combustible/toxic detectors should be installed in the fire dikes, loading and unloading cranes, and pump sheds in the storage tank area, and the distance between the drain outlet, sampling port, or bottom (side) receiving flange, valve, etc. of the storage tank and the detector should not be Greater than 15m. The horizontal distance between the crane position of the loading and unloading truck and the detector should not be greater than 15m. Vehicles and units transporting hazardous chemicals should have corresponding qualifications, and transport equipment should be inspected and qualified in accordance with regulations. LNG facilities should be equipped with cofferdams, and all cofferdam areas should be equipped with liquid collection tanks. Supports for storage tanks and process equipment must be resistant to fire and low temperatures. The requirements for setting up cofferdams should comply with the relevant rules in Article 10.3 of the “Fire Protection Standards for Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Design” (GB50183-2004).
