The country has not yet issued relevant standards and specifications for the design and construction of cryogenic storage tanks for liquefied hydrocarbons such as propane and LPG. This means that the design and construction of such tanks may face certain uncertainties and risks due to the lack of clear guidance and specifications.
Compared to LNG technology, atmospheric cryogenic storage technology may not be as efficient as LNG in some aspects. For example, LNG technology can achieve a volume reduction of approximately 600 times by liquefying and freezing natural gas, which is particularly important for transporting natural gas over long distances. While atmospheric cryogenic storage technology can also improve storage efficiency, it may not be able to achieve the same level of efficiency as LNG technology.
