Oxygen filling stations are facilities dedicated to filling oxygen gas into cylinders. These stations play a key role in many fields, including medical, industrial and scientific research. Understanding the basic principles of oxygen filling stations can help ensure safe and efficient operation.

Oxygen Sources
Oxygen filling stations usually obtain oxygen through the following ways:

Liquid oxygen storage tanks: Store oxygen through cryogenic liquid oxygen storage tanks and vaporize it into gas when filling.
Oxygen generator: Utilizes oxygen from compressed air through air separation technology.
Filling process
Oxygen purity test: Before filling, the purity of oxygen must be tested to ensure that it meets relevant standards (such as medical oxygen must reach a purity of more than 99.5%).
Gas cylinder testing: Before filling, the gas cylinder must be strictly tested, including appearance inspection, leak detection and pressure testing.
Connect the filling equipment: Connect the gas cylinder to the filling equipment and ensure that all connections are well sealed.
Start filling: Gradually increase the pressure in the gas cylinder until the required filling pressure is reached.
Filling completed: After filling is completed, the cylinder needs to be checked again for leaks and the filling date and other necessary information should be marked.
