Since the welded joints of the inner tank should be 100% radiographically inspected as required, the length of each weld is about 120 m, and the number of photographs taken per circle is about 400. Therefore, try to use wide plates in the design to reduce the number of circumferential welded joints. The design uses a plate width of 3 000 mm and an effective width of 2 970 mm. The actual plate width can be adjusted according to the supplier’s goods.
