Current status and development prospects of LNG cryogenic pumps at home and abroad(1)
Current status and development prospects of LNG cryogenic pumps at China and abroad
In recent years, the proportion of natural gas in the world’s energy consumption has steadily increased, and natural gas has become one of the three pillar energy sources alongside oil and coal. LNG is a globally recognized clean energy with many advantages such as energy saving, environmental protection, safety, reliability, and outstanding economic benefits. The national “12th Five-Year Plan” policy encourages the development and introduction of liquefied natural gas. By 2012, 12 LNG import receiving stations with a total volume of 35 million tons had been established in coastal cities in my country, exceeding the total volume of the first and second lines of the West-East Gas Transmission Project. LNG liquefaction technology has developed rapidly in my country. The “13th Five-Year Plan” strongly supports the development of natural gas. The “13th Five-Year Plan” development plan proposes that my country’s comprehensive natural gas supply capacity will reach 360 billion cubic meters by 2020, accounting for 8.3% to 10% of primary energy consumption.
my country’s imported natural gas is mainly liquefied natural gas (LNG). The LNG production and consumption process mainly consists of liquefaction, transshipment, reception, transportation and sales. LNG cryogenic delivery pumps will be used in each link. It can be seen that LNG cryogenic pumps play an important role in the industrial chain.
