Design details of LPG storage tank
The tank filling factor refers to the fullness of the liquefied gas in the tank. Filling factor is an important parameter when designing and using storage tanks, which affects the safety and performance of storage tanks. The filling factor refers to the ratio of the volume of gas in the storage tank to the total volume of the storage tank. It is usually expressed as a percentage, for example, the filling factor is 80%. The higher the filling factor, the higher the degree of gas filling in the storage tank. In practical applications, the filling factor of the liquefied gas storage tank is determined by the design and operation requirements. Usually, the filling factor of the storage tank will not exceed 85%. This is for safety reasons and the expansion space of the storage tank. Reserve a certain space to accommodate the expansion of gas and the change of pressure in the storage tank to ensure the safe operation of the storage tank.
