In the past five years, China’s LNG imports have increased by nearly 2 times. It is estimated that around 2022, the total capacity of China’s LNG receiving stations will exceed 130 million tons/year. The global LNG resource supply is loose, China’s natural gas demand is strong, the country encourages LNG imports, and China’s LNG market prospects are promising; more LNG receiving stations will be built in the near future, and the demand for LNG pumps will gradually increase.

Based on the LNG submersible pump, cryogenic pump products suitable for low-temperature media such as ethylene, propane, and liquid nitrogen can also be developed. With the promotion and application of the national clean energy policy, the proportion of natural gas in my country’s energy will continue to increase, providing a broad market space for the development of domestic LNG submersible pumps. The next research focus of LNG submersible pumps is: research on low-temperature resistant materials, research on bearing lubrication under low-temperature conditions, research on the working characteristics of motors under low-temperature conditions, and factory testing technology for the working medium of LNG pumps.
