The location of the LPG storage and distribution station should be located on the edge of the city but close to the main road. It is not allowed to be located in residential areas, because once the LPG storage tank leaks and explodes and is not disposed of properly, it will cause serious damage to nearby residents and buildings. If the damage occurs, the user needs to check and maintain the storage tank frequently to ensure the safety of use and operation, and to determine the sensitivity and reliability of the indicating instrument.
The storage tank should be installed in the leeward or lateral wind direction, and the surrounding should be set with a solid wall made of non-combustible materials with a height of not less than 2 meters. Offices, power distribution rooms, duty rooms and other buildings should be arranged in the auxiliary area. Storage tank area, compressor room, hydrocarbon pump room, gas cylinder storage warehouse, tanker loading and unloading platform and fire water tank are set in the production area. Compressor room, hydrocarbon pump room and auxiliary gas cylinder warehouse should be laid out separately. Comply with local or energy sector safety technical regulations.
