Tank trucks are often semi-trailers. If the tank is positioned on a little inclination, a 3-inch (8 cm) outflow valve at the rear ensures proper drainage. Some tanks have a drain in the center, with the tank bottom pitched for drainage. The valve is readily inspected and comes with a cover.
