Horizontal and vertical LNG storage tanks
LNG tanks are mainly designed in two forms: horizontal and vertical. Each form has its own advantages and disadvantages and applicable scenarios.
LNG tanks are mainly designed in two forms: horizontal and vertical. Each form has its own advantages and disadvantages and applicable scenarios.
Horizontal tanks: suitable for places with larger spaces, relatively easy maintenance, suitable for situations where low center of gravity stability is required, but transportation and installation are complex, and space utilization efficiency may be low.
Vertical tanks: suitable for places with limited ground space, flexible capacity, suitable for urban environments, but difficult to maintain, may require more stability design and higher construction costs.
