For intergranular corrosion and fracture corrosion (stress corrosion and fatigue corrosion), except for severe intergranular corrosion that can be found by hammering, it is generally difficult to judge by visual inspection. Metallographic inspection, chemical composition analysis and hardness measurement are commonly used. Generally, the lining should be inspected for airtightness, and components that hinder the inspection should be removed during the inspection.
