Ing gas station basics
1. What is an LNG gas station?
LNG gas station refers to a gas filling facility that uses liquefied natural gas (LNG) as fuel. LNG is a clean energy formed by cooling natural gas to below -161 degrees Celsius and compressing it into a liquid state.
2. What is the working principle of an LNG gas station?
The main working principle of an LNG gas station is to extract liquid LNG from a storage tank through a pumping system, and then transform it into gaseous natural gas through a series of heating, pressure recovery, evaporation and other processes. Subsequently, the gaseous LNG is supplied to natural gas vehicles through a gas filling gun.
3. What are the components of an LNG gas station?
LNG gas stations consist of several main parts, including:
-LNG storage tanks: used to store liquid LNG.
-Pumping system: extracts LNG from the storage tank and sends it to the pressure recovery system.
-Pressure recovery system: heats and pressurizes liquid LNG.
-Evaporator: converts liquid LNG into gaseous LNG.
-Gas filling nozzle: used to supply gaseous LNG to natural gas vehicles.
