Liquefied petroleum gas storage tank precautions
Strictly control the operating pressure and temperature of LPG storage tanks to prevent overheating and overpressure.
Strictly control the operating pressure and temperature of LPG storage tanks to prevent overheating and overpressure. Regularly check the air tightness of the valves and pipe joints of the storage tanks to ensure that there is no air leakage. During use, someone should be on guard to prevent water from boiling over and extinguishing the fire, causing the liquefied gas to flow and cause an explosion.
LPG storage tanks should be placed in a well-ventilated place, and the distance from the fire source and heat source should not be less than 1.5m. Gas cylinders are not allowed to be roasted with fire, scalded with boiling water or exposed to the sun. Frequently check the air tightness of the valves and pipe joints of the gas cylinders to ensure that there is no air leakage. Generally, soapy water is used to check for leaks, and it is strictly forbidden to use open flames to test for leaks.
