Technology for maintaining liquid oxygen state

When storing liquid oxygen, liquid oxygen tanks need to take a series of measures to maintain the state of liquid oxygen. First, a certain pressure needs to be maintained inside the liquid oxygen tank, usually between 2-3 atmospheres, to ensure that the liquid oxygen will not vaporize. Secondly, the temperature inside the liquid oxygen tank needs to be kept low, usually around -183℃, to keep the liquid oxygen stable. To achieve this goal, a liquid nitrogen system is usually set up inside the liquid oxygen tank to maintain the low temperature of liquid oxygen through the refrigeration effect of liquid nitrogen.

Liquid oxygen release process

The release process of liquid oxygen tanks is usually divided into two ways: one is to control the flow of liquid oxygen through valves, and the other is to drive the flow of liquid oxygen through pressure difference. Inside the liquid oxygen tank, corresponding valves are set to control the flow rate of liquid oxygen by controlling the degree of opening of the valve.
When liquid oxygen is needed, just open the valve and the liquid oxygen will flow out of the tank. Another way is to use the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the liquid oxygen tank to drive the flow of liquid oxygen. By adjusting the pressure difference inside and outside the tank, the flow rate and flow rate of liquid oxygen can be controlled to meet different usage requirements.
