Safety precautions during pre-cooling of LNG cryogenic storage tanks include: paying attention to the valve closing sequence to avoid the cryogenic liquid being blocked:
checking for leaks at hose connections;
observing the pressure rise in pipelines and storage tanks；
checking for frost on safety valves；
checking for cracks on cryogenic materials and pipeline welding parts；
checking pipeline shrinkage and changes in pipe support;
checking the sealing and flexibility of cryogenic valves；
checking for leaks at flange connections；
leaving liquid nitrogen for two to three days to observe changes in liquid level and pressure, and detecting changes in tank vacuum.
