The latest domestic test results show that the fuel consumption ratio of gasoline vehicles and LPG vehicles is 1:1.1 (volume ratio). Calculated on the basis of gasoline vehicle consumption of 10L/100km, oil price of 7.5 yuan/L, and LPG price of 3.7 yuan/L, the fuel costs of gasoline and LPG per 100 kilometers are 75 yuan and 41 yuan respectively. According to the survey, the conversion cost of refitting gasoline vehicles into LPG and gasoline dual-fuel vehicles in the market is 5,000~7,000 yuan per unit. Using LPG saves 34 yuan per car per kilometer compared to using gasoline. If a taxi travels 300 km per day and has 320 working days per year, the annual cost savings per car is 32,640 yuan. It can be seen that the fixed cost of refitting a car can be recovered within a few months, and the economic benefits are very considerable.
