A sliding system is one in which a group of units is fixed to a chassis made of angle brackets or I-beams, which can be moved and positioned using skids (now with lifting devices). This group of units remains uncovered and differs from an inspection wall box in this respect.  Frankly speaking, an LPG skid-mount means that the tank, pipe and bottom skid are made in one piece. Skid proof.

Skids are different from other equipment because they are drawn across the platform or installation and combined with other equipment connected by pipework.
