2.1 Clean water should be used for flushing pipes. When flushing austenitic stainless steel pipes, the chloride ion content in the water shall not exceed 25×10-6 (25PPm).

 

2.2 When flushing, the flow rate should be used, and the flow rate should not be lower than 1.5m/S.

 

2.3 The discharge water should be led into a reliable drainage well or ditch, and the cross-sectional area of the discharge pipe should not be less than 60% of the cross-sectional area of the pipe to be flushed. When draining, negative pressure must not develop.
