Manometer: In order to control and monitor the pressure inside the storage tank, a manometer must be installed on the storage tank. Pressure gauges on liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks usually include direct reading pressure gauges such as conventional spring hose pressure gauges. Diaphragm pressure gauges and non-contact remote pressure gauges
(1) Install the pressure gauge on an easily visible tank. The diameter of the manometer dial must be at least 100 mm.
(2) Pressure gauge precision requirements The low pressure storage tank must not be less than 2.5, and the medium pressure storage tank must not be less than 1.6.
(3) Set the limit value of the pressure gauge to 1.5 to 3.0 times the allowable operating pressure, and pull the red line indicating the operating pressure on the dial of the pressure gauge twice. To indicate the permissible operating pressure of the storage tank
(4) Install a 3-way valve or needle valve between the pressure gauge and the storage tank. They should also have open marks and locks to facilitate calibration and replacement. Do not connect fittings or pipes for any other purpose.
(5) The pressure gauge should be calibrated regularly at least every 6 months, and the calibrated pressure gauge should be sealed. Uncalibrated pressure gauges without lead seals are not acceptable.
(6) In the case of a pressure gauge in use, if the indicator is broken, the scale is unclear, or the windshield is fogged or broken. Releasing the pressure does not return the pointer to zero. Or the lead seal is damaged. It should be replaced immediately.
