LPG storage tank usage rules

As liquid LPG is lighter than water, the water injected into the tank will hold the LPG to the water surface, isolating the LPG from the leak. At this point, the main spray from the leak is water rather than pure LPG, and then other methods are used to plug the leak. In the process of plugging the leak, the release valve at the top of the tank can be opened to release the gaseous LPG, which is less likely to form a hazard and reduces the pressure in the tank.

Corrosion-resistant epoxy resin paint or polyurethane paint is usually used. The role of these paints is to prevent corrosion, improve durability, and provide certain fire and water resistance to protect the tank and extend its service life.

LPG gas storage tanks are easy to use, convenient and have excellent storage safety. This makes it a widely used fuel storage device. Industrial applications include boilers, water heaters, power plants, mechanical processing.
