LPG storage tanks
As liquid LPG is lighter than water, the water injected into the tank will hold the LPG to the water surface, isolating the LPG from the leak. At this point, the main spray from the leak is water rather than pure LPG, and then other methods are used to plug the leak. In the process of plugging the leak, the release valve at the top of the tank can be opened to release the gaseous LPG, which is less likely to form a hazard and reduces the pressure in the tank.

Advantages of the process
①The process is simple, quick to start, effective and easy to implement, and can play an emergency role.
②The liquid ejected from the leak point is mainly water, reducing the amount of LPG ejected during the plugging process, delaying the formation of explosive mixed tough, reducing the risk of frostbite to the operator, reducing the difficulty of operation, and buying time for the implementation of measures such as plugging and tank dumping.
③The implementation of air release reduces the pressure at the leak point and facilitates plugging.
