Anti-freeze measures: In cold regions, LPG storage tanks should have a secondary dehydration system with anti-freeze measures. In addition, tanks and pipelines absorb ambient heat and produce evaporated gas, so a refrigeration system should be in place to keep temperatures low.
Temperature monitoring and safety facilities: Storage tanks should be equipped with level gauges, thermometers, pressure gauges, safety valves, and there should be high and low level alarms or high level automatic interlock to cut off the feed facilities.
