The pressure test of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks is a key step in ensuring the safe operation of the tanks. Before the test, the tanks need to be cleaned and the safety devices of the accessories checked to see if they are normal. Then a sealing test is conducted, the valve is closed and low-temperature gas is filled to the set pressure to observe if there is any leakage. Then a static pressure test is conducted, adding the design pressure or higher and maintaining it for a period of time to check if the tanks and accessories are leaking. After that, a liquid level test is required to verify the accuracy of the liquid level controller and liquid level gauge. Finally, a pressure release test is conducted, the safety vent valve is opened to release the pressure, and the release situation and any abnormal phenomena are observed.
