Maintenance methods of cryogenic storage tanks
1. Before using the liquefied natural gas storage tank, a small amount of liquid nitrogen should be put into it to pre-cool it. When the temperature in the tank reaches the liquid nitrogen temperature, fill the liquid nitrogen tank with liquid nitrogen. Be careful to handle the liquid nitrogen tank gently to prevent collision and squeezing. Do not drag it on the ground and lift it up. When not in use, the liquid nitrogen tank should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated room to prevent moisture.
2. Check the neck plug and the neck plug groove at any time, remove the ice on the neck plug in time, and do not place plastic cloth and other materials on the neck plug to increase the sealing performance and ensure the use function of the liquid nitrogen tank. When it is found that the liquid nitrogen consumption rate is too fast or there are water droplets and white frost near the neck of the liquid nitrogen tank, it means that the insulation function of the tank is out of order and liquid nitrogen cannot be retained. The specimens placed in the liquid nitrogen tank should be marked, and they should be stable, accurate and fast when taking and placing.
3. In order to prevent erosion of the tank wall, the inner cavity of the liquid nitrogen tank needs to be cleaned once a year. In addition, it is also necessary to minimize the transportation of cryogenic storage tanks and reduce the number of times the liquid nitrogen tank is opened. If it needs to be transported, it must be fixed to the car box with a rope to keep the liquid nitrogen tank upright. Prevent it from falling, overturning, lying horizontally, and try to prevent severe vibration.
