Maintenance of LPG storage tank
Storage tanks need to be inspected regularly, and specific time intervals and inspection items may be subject to local industry standards and relevant regulations. Includes inspection of tank exterior surfaces, welds, coatings, and supporting structures for corrosion, cracks, or other damage. Liquefied gas storage tanks need to be checked inside regularly. Internal inspections look for corrosion, delamination, wear and other damage on the bottom and interior of the tank walls, as well as for proper functioning of equipment such as fittings and valves. Use non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic thickness measurement and X-ray testing to detect the thickness of the tank wall, the quality of welds or joints, and possible hidden dangers or defects. Test the sealing performance of the storage tank to ensure that it will not leak during normal operation. Check the drain valve of the storage tank to make sure it is functioning properly and adjust the discharge.
