1. Register its company with the Federation of Nigeria Federal Taxation Bureau (FIRS), attach the latest tax certificate, assign a tax number (TIN) on it, and add a valid email address on it.
2. Choose a bank in Nigeria as the Authorized Dealer Bank (ADB). The bank will process Form M/PAAR forms and mediate between the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), importers, and other institutions.
After completing the above steps, the importer is now ready to import to Nigeria. The following steps must now be taken to clear the goods through customs:

The import program activates PC on a single online window
The importer opens Form M on the Nigerian trade platform (single window system) and attaches the required documents – such as insurance certificates, formal invoices, product certificates (when the item is under SON control) – and submits them to the bank.
