Oxygen filling plant operation cautions
I:Cautions
1.1 Gas testing and pre-fill inspection of cylinders is mandatory.
1.2 Charging equipment, pipelines, valves, instruments and work chocks must be checked regularly to ensure safety and reliability.
1.3 When operating any valve, the operator must stand to the side of it and open and close it slowly, fully or tightly at one time, but not too tightly.
1.4 After the pressure of the filling row has reached 10% of the filling pressure, it is forbidden to insert empty bottles for filling, nor is it allowed to arbitrarily reduce the number of filled bottles per row.
1.5 During the filling process, if you encounter a burning bottle valve, you should immediately close the burning bottle valve and its connected filling branch valve. For fires with a tendency to spread, an “emergency shut-off” signal should be issued at the same time, the venting valve should be opened and the incoming main valve should be closed so that burning can be stopped.
1.6 When a fire is required for workshop maintenance, reliable fire-fighting measures must be taken and approved by the safety management, and a fire permit must be obtained before the fire can be started.
1.7 All personnel who come into contact with oxygen or strong oxidising media must not have their hands, clothing, tools etc. covered with grease.
