Pressure vessel import and design specification requirements
Pakistani market requires ASME VIII for LPG tanks, but for cryogenic tanks, China standard is applicable
Chilean LNG tanks require EU certification, LPG tanks and LOx LN2 LAr tanks accept ASME VIII.
The Philippines, Haiti, Ghana, Cambodia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia, Mozambique and Nigeria can all accept pressure vessels manufactured to Chinese standards: for example, LPG gas tanks, Cryogenic gas tanks etc. The Nigerian market must comply with SON norms. If exporting LPG gas tanks to Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia, Kenya, a COC/Pvoc compliance statement is required to demonstrate that the exported goods meet the specifications and requirements of the authorities of the destination country.
However, the markets in South Africa and Kenya are relatively strict, firstly, because of trade protectionism and increased import restrictions in order to preserve the survival of local enterprises, secondly, because of quality certification to ensure compliance with the authorities’ requirements, and thirdly, because of a certain degree of quality assurance. But as far as I know, the quality of the LPG gas tanks produced by our company in China.
All the countries mentioned above are export markets for our company and we are able to assist our customers in these countries with LPG gas filling pant equipemnts and construction questions.
